Descripción
Mount Pomarape, an extinct volcano, part of the Payachatas (“two sisters” in quechua native language). Just as with the other Payachata (Parinacota, also available in the tour of Go Bolivia), the border between Bolivia and Chile passes exactly through its center.

The first ascent to this snowcapped mountain was done by Bolivian René Zalles and Edmundo García in 1946.
