Description
This trekking route starts in the very heart of the Cordillera Real. We start with a four-day trek from Khotia lagoon to the village of Botijlaca, located in the valley of Zongo.

This trekking route is the most beautiful inside the tour of the Cordillera Real.

Undoubtedly you will enjoy this tour for its views of glaciers and mountains. You will conquer mountain passes and, if you are an altitude-loving person, climb the majestic Huayna Potosí located 6088 m.a.s.l.

Itinerary (5 days)

Day 1: La Paz Lake Kotia Quebrador	Departure from La Paz on a vehicle to Cordillera Real and Lake Khotia (4570 m.a.s.l). We start slowly the hike toward the Andean slopes. Later, Lake Titicaca could be seen at the left. The path leads zigzag-fashion down to arrive at Quebrador, near Ajwani lagoon.
Day 2: Quebrador Ajwani lagoon Sistaña Jurikhota lagoon	We start ascending between ravines and lagoons to the Milluni summit (4030 m.a.s.l.), where we have an impressive panoramic view of all the Cordillera Real. The Sajama volcano could be seen in the background of the high plateau. The path is winding but appealing until we arrive at Sistaña lagoon, where we take a lunch break. In this point, the path starts ascending toward the summit. We arrive at Jurikhota lagoon, beautiful and isolated, surrounded by snowcapped mountains.
Day 3: Jurikhota Glaciar lagoon Chiarckhota lagoon Condoriri	The ascent starts fast between big rocks and bends until we arrive at the edge of a frozen lagoon. Mount Condoriri now could be seen. If you wish adventure, the path could be followed up to reach Austria peak, located at the foot of apachetas, mountains of the National Park Condoriri. We go down through a narrow path to Chiarkhota lagoon.
Day 4: Chiarkhota Ligviñosa lagoon	We leave early from the lagoon. We take the path that starts with a gentle but constant ascent. Beautiful view from this summit located at more than 5000 meters. The rocky soil triturated by the wind looks like sand. We go down slowly to soon ascend again toward a pass until we arrive at Ligviñosa lagoon.
Day 5: Ligviñosa lagoon Botijlaca La Paz	We descend to the deep valleys. Vegetation becomes thicker and air warmer. We finally arrive at the village of Botijlaca (3600 m.a.s.l.), region of enjoyable and temperate climate. There, a vehicle is awaiting to drive us back to La Paz. Farewell dinner. Hotel accommodation.

Itinerary (3 days)

Day1: La Paz Chiarckhota	Departure early from La Paz to cross the neighboring city of El Alto and head for Tuni (mule square), where our team of muleteers will be awaiting us. After loading the animals, we set out for a two-hour trek to Chiarkhota lagoon. First camp.
Day 2: Chiarkhota Ligviñosa lagoon	We leave early from the lagoon. We take the path that starts with a gentle but constant ascent. Beautiful view from this summit located at more than 5000 meters. The rocky soil triturated by the wind looks like sand. We go down slowly to soon ascend again toward a pass until we arrive at Ligviñosa lagoon. Camp.
Day 3: Ligviñosa lagoon La Paz	We descend to the deep valleys. Vegetation becomes thicker and air warmer. We finally arrive at the village of Botijlaca (3600 m.a.s.l.), region of enjoyable and temperate climate. There, a vehicle is awaiting to drive us back to La Paz. Farewell dinner. Hotel accommodation.
