Description
Condoriri, “cabeza de cóndor” in native language, has the shape of a condor (mystical bird) with its wings spread out. The mountain’s colors, archeological remains and llama herdsmen complete a landscape that put together in only one frame the magic of nature, culture and adventure. After climbing one of its most beautiful peaks (Mount Pequeño Alpamayo), we will go to one of the most accessible mountains of the Cordillera Real: Mount Huayna Potosí (in Aymara native language: “Young Mountain”).

This Mount is one of the preferred snowcapped mountains by mountaineers for its ascent features and snowcapped massifs (its highest summit is know as Pico Norte), besides being a place with great visual beauty. After reaching its summit, we go back to La Paz, where we will get a well-deserved rest to restore our strength and then climb Mount Illimani, guardian mountain of the city of La Paz.

At twilight, the transformation of this mountain could be seen from the city: with a completely clear sky, a wonderful sight could be seen: the city shines, while Mount Illimani passes through various shades, until going out in a pale white and finally a dark blue.
